Accessibility Statement
Effective Date: April 2026
1. Our commitment
Good Thinking is committed to making goodthinking.solutions accessible to everyone, regardless of ability or assistive technology. We aim to conform to Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA, published by the W3C.
This statement applies to the Good Thinking marketing website (every public page under goodthinking.solutions). It does not cover third-party tools embedded on the site (for example, the GT Chat widget or Chatbase-hosted demos), which each publish their own accessibility information.
2. What we have done
- Semantic HTML with landmark elements (
header,nav,main,footer) and one descriptiveh1per page. - Skip-to-content link on every page (
Skip to content), visible on keyboard focus. - Keyboard-accessible navigation, including a focus-trapped mobile menu with Escape-to-close.
- Descriptive alt text on informative images; decorative images marked with empty
alt=""andaria-hidden="true". - Colour contrast tested against WCAG AA ratios for body text and UI controls.
- Text resize support: layouts hold up to 200% zoom without loss of content or functionality.
- Respect for the
prefers-reduced-motionmedia query — entrance animations and parallax effects are suppressed for users who prefer reduced motion. en-GBlanguage declared at the document level.- Form inputs have associated labels,
aria-livestatus messages, and descriptive error text.
3. Known limitations
We are not perfect. The following areas are areas of known or suspected non-conformance we are working to improve:
- Some decorative animations may still be visually distracting for users who have not enabled
prefers-reduced-motion. We are reviewing these for reduction. - Third-party video embeds from
video.wixstatic.comdo not carry captions; we are reviewing how to caption these or replace them. - The GT Chat widget embedded from
chat.goodthinking.solutionsis owned by Good Thinking but its accessibility is tested and improved separately.
If you find anything that is not listed here, please tell us using the contact details below — we will treat accessibility reports as priority work.
4. Reporting an accessibility problem
If you find a page or feature that is not accessible, or you need content in an alternative format, please contact us at finn@goodthinking.solutions. Please describe the page and the problem in as much detail as you can. We aim to respond within five working days.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Equality Advisory and Support Service (EASS), which provides advice on UK Equality Act 2010 rights.
5. How this statement was prepared
This statement was prepared in April 2026 following a gold-standard review against WCAG 2.2 Level AA success criteria. The review was conducted by Good Thinking in conjunction with the content and infrastructure audit of the same period.
We review this statement at least once a year, and whenever there is a significant change to the site.
